My Fellow Americans
So, this movie is completely hilarious and I really wanted to include some of my favorite quotes, but there seems to be a dearth of them online and I can’t remember the funniest ones word for word.
James Garner and Jack Lemmon play 2 ex-presidents from opposing parties who have to band together to stop some massive corruption and escape the reaches of an evil NSA director. But mostly they just take hilarious jabs at each other and try to get from Washington to Ohio and back without getting discovered and murdered. It’s basically a road movie.
Their interactions are mainly like this:
Matt Douglas: Let’s stop talking. We’re about to bond. It’ll make me vomit.
It just cracks me up throughout. And with supporting roles filled with people like Lauren Bacall and my favorite skeezy Washington-type actor Bradley Whitford, it’s just really great.
Christ, this entry is so lame! I’ve got to stop reviewing from work.
